Entries open soon for 2nd Construction & Property Awards

The second annual award ceremony is making its debut return in February 2018, and businesses are already gearing up to enter one of the seven award categories.

The Construction & Property Awards made headlines earlier this year as local businesses came together at Lincolns very own Engine Shed to celebrate and award the sector.

It was a night full of people clinking glasses, tucking into food and listening to guest speakers such as TV’s own Charlie Luxton – Presenter of Homes by the Sea.

The awards, which are open to all businesses, aim to recognise the reward all those who work tirelessly behind the scenes helping to develop and improve the housing and architectural landscape across Greater Lincolnshire.

This is the only award of its kind in the county and the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce are encouraging local businesses to enter for an award and be part of one of Lincolnshire’s milestone events.

Entries open on September 4 and the award categories are as follows:

  • Development Project of the Year (Over £5million) – sponsored by Streets Chartered Accountants
  • Development Project of the Year (Up to £5million) – sponsored by Lambert Smith Hampton
  • Sustainability Project of the Year – sponsored by Anglian Water
  • Residential Project of the Year – sponsored by Roythornes
  • Agent of the Year – sponsored by Willmott Dixon
  • Apprentice/Young Achiever of the Year – sponsored by Quadrant Building Control
  • Heritage Project of the Year – sponsored by Woodhead Construction

The Chamber and Steering group would like to extend a huge thank you to all businesses sponsoring an award category and also Chestnut Homes by sponsoring the drinks reception, Lambert Hampton Smith for sponsoring the programmes, City of Lincoln Council for being the headline sponsor and Longhurst Group for sponsoring the table wine.

Get ready to enter and visit the web page now at www.lincsconstructionandpropertyawards.co.uk to find out more about the awards. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for the guest speaker who will be announced in due course.

Entering an award is free and businesses can enter more than once.
