Memorial Christmas trees launched

Families across the area have been invited to remember their loved ones at Lincolnshire Co-op funeral homes this Christmas.

From Thursday 1st December until Friday 23rd December, each funeral homes will feature a memorial Christmas tree where people can place personalised messages for family and friends they have lost.

All funeral homes will be hosting a coffee morning at 10am on Friday 1st December to launch the memorial trees, providing a place for reflection and remembrance.

As well as bringing families together, there will be a chance to help raise money for the community.

Head of Funerals David Dernley said: “We are pleased to offer this service during such a difficult time for those in our community who have lost loved ones, and hope that they will find comfort in writing and displaying their messages.”

There will be an opportunity to make donations at each funeral home to the Society’s Community Champions from December to March, local homeless charities.
