Lincolnshire Chamber support YMCA Lincolnshire as chosen golf day charity

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce has selected YMCA Lincolnshire as its charity to support for its annual Golf Day, taking place on Friday 28^th June.

Held at Sleaford Golf Club, businesses can enter teams of up to four golfers.

The event will start from 8.00am and finish at 4.30pm.

Nicola Johnson, Head of Business Development at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Chamber annual golf day is such a staple event in our calendar, they are always well-attended, so we are especially excited this year and to have YMCA Lincolnshire as our charity is fantastic.”

Prizes will be given on the day to the winning team, the runners up, longest drive and nearest pin.

Caroline Killeavy, Chief Executive YMCA Lincolnshire, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce on their annual golf day.

“At YMCA Lincolnshire we believe every person is of equal value and should be given the support and guidance they need to ensure they can reach their full potential.

“We work with people of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of different ways to support our local communities, making them into places where people can truly belong is our focus.

“We work in 5 key areas; Day Care, Youth Work, Emergency Overnight Accommodation, Housing and Training, whilst also running Retail, Conferencing and Climbing facilities to help fund our services in Lincolnshire.”

 

Nicola, concluded: “We have sponsorship packages available, including; headline sponsor and hole sponsorship and we’ll also be having a raffle on the day to raise additional funds for the charity.”

Chamber member price is £200 + VAT for a team of four and non-member price is £300 + VAT for a team of four, with the price including a full English breakfast, a round of golf and a two-course meal.
