Health and safety experts have invested in a move to state-of-the-art offices, which reflect their determination to ensure clients are equally smart when it comes to staying up-to-date with the latest regulations.

Emprocom Ltd, which was formerly based in Greetwell Place, Lincoln, has splashed out on relocating to eco-friendly Bridge House in Langworth, which is a perfect fit for its plans for growth.

The seven-strong team, headed by managing director Carl Gryniewicz,  is now servicing clients locally, regionally and nationally from modern offices which have given the firm plenty of room for expansion and which are also ideal for training purposes.

The move to the high-specification office building, which is equipped with green technologies, monitoring and management systems, follows an 18-months search for the right premises.

Emprocom, which started life in 2006, provides a range of health and safety consultancy services for businesses of all sizes to ensure they stay on the right side of complex Health & Safety legislation.

“We work with businesses across all sectors, but particularly those within the agricultural, construction and engineering industries.  Construction accounts for a large part of our work and includes giving advice on the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations, which apply to people working on all building projects.

“We are happy to handle one-off enquiries, but we are mainly about building strong working relationships.  Sixty per cent of our work involves carrying out audits, identifying potential problems, bringing workplaces up to standard, producing documentation and also carrying out regular inspections, audits and follow-up meetings,” said Mr  Gryniewicz.

“Emprocom also works alongside clients and architects for construction projects from the inception to the completion of projects.  This varies from office and school extensions to large multi-million pound distribution centers and also entails carrying out regular inspections and going along to project progress meetings.”

Mr Gryniewicz is particularly pleased that Bridge House has provided the company with training facilities/conference space for up to 18 people, along with car parking space. 

The company’s wide ranging training courses cover first aid, manual handling, working at height, abrasive wheels, risk assessments and asbestos awareness and more.

“The flexiblity of our premises allows us to have one large or two smaller training rooms, which can also be hired out to businesses looking for private meeting space, generating extra income,” added Mr Gryniewicz.
