Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce have partnered with the North East Lincolnshire Council’s Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire programme, to host a virtual exhibition which will bring together businesses who want to move to a more sustainable future.
Taking place on Wednesday 30th September from 9.00am – 12.30pm, this Be Business Smart: Cut Costs and Carbon Virtual Exhibition will provide a forum to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy through learning forums, knowledge sharing activities, panel discussions and case studies.
Aimed at SME’s across all sectors in Greater Lincolnshire, the event is FREE to attend as a delegate with virtual exhibitor booth opportunities at £25 + VAT for members and £40 + VAT for non-members.
Businesses can expect the event to mimic a physical exhibition – with delegates able to ‘click around’ the exhibition the same as they would ‘walk around’ a physical one, visiting stands, attending talks, 1-2-1 sessions and networking.
Exhibitors can host a promotional video of their company or they can interact live with visitors to their booth.
Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, commented on the partnership: “As valued members of the Chamber, we are delighted to partner with Smart Energy on this event.
“It made complete sense to go virtually with this one not just because we are living in a time where such events aren’t currently happening as they once did, but we have seen over recent months how adopting virtual events can reduce carbon emissions drastically.
“As we continue to see an increasing demand for businesses to prove they operate in a sustainable and ethical way and growing pressure to manage and reduce energy usage and this event provides the opportunity to explore the latest technology, meet suppliers, showcase your products and/or services and network with other businesses – supporting business to transition to a low carbon economy.”
Tony Neul, Assistant Director for Energy and Environmental Policy at North East Lincolnshire Council said: “Our Smart Energy Project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, bringing small to medium businesses a wide range of support from grant funding, onsite audits to webinars.
It is fantastic to be working with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce to help businesses save time, money, and contribute towards the fight against climate change.
“At the event businesses can find out about our grants which can be used to cover up to 38% of an energy saving project meet our partners who are world renowned leading experts in energy and resource efficiency and meet a wide range of suppliers.
