First class students celebrate accountancy qualifications

Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants are delighted to announce that George Blake, Ruth Bollington and Phoebe Cranmer have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and are now fully qualified chartered accountants.

Tom White and Helen Patrick have also recently passed the final examination in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and are now fully qualified chartered certified accountants.

These newly qualified accountants are valuable members of the growing team of accountants at Forrester Boyd and testament to the Firm’s commitment to growth and personal development of its team.

Philip George, Forrester Boyd’s partner responsible for training, said: “George, Ruth, Phoebe, Helen and Tom have done extremely well especially during such challenging times. This is yet another example of the success of our strategy in recruiting and developing home grown talent.  This, combined with excellent accounting tuition, allows Forrester Boyd to continue to recruit, develop and retain top quality accounting staff”.

Studying during the pandemic has been challenging. Going from having the face-to-face support of colleagues and peers to working from home and remote learning has not gone without its challenges for our new accountants. They have done extremely well to stay focussed and determined during a very unsettled period. Forrester Boyd not only had to adapt to supporting staff in working from home, but also supporting trainees in their development and study and ensuring they had access to all the resources and people to assist them and provide a much needed sounding board.

Forrester Boyd has just launched its 2021 trainee application programme so are now looking for the next cohort of talented trainees.

As one of the leading independent chartered accountancy practices in Lincolnshire and the Humber region, Forrester Boyd has 18 partners with over 150 staff based at offices at Grimsby, Louth, Scunthorpe, Skegness, Beverley and Hull.
