The Local Plan will guide growth and development in East Lindsey up to 2031.
The East Lindsey Local Plan was adopted by the East Lindsey District Council in July 2018. In line with policy SP29 of the Plan, the Council is carrying out a partial review of the Plan and, to that end, has published an Issues and Options Paper. The Issues and Options Paper sets out certain issues which are being considered in the partial review and suggests potential options in relation to these.
The Council is seeking views on that document. The document can be viewed on the Council’s website at https://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/article/16504/Local-Plan-Consultations
Comments should be made on the downloadable Issues and Options document which can be accessed on the Council’s website above. Any other correspondence can be sent to local.plan@e-lindsey.gov.uk or the Planning Policy Department, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 8UP.
Alongside the above consultation, the Council is carrying out a Call for Land.
Those with an interest in developing land within East Lindsey may submit sites to the Council for consideration. Sites are being sought for both housing and employment land.
Sites submitted to the Council under the Call for Land should be submitted on the separate Call for Land Submission Form which can also be downloaded from the Council’s website at https://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/article/16504/Local-Plan-Consultations
Forms should be accompanied by a map showing the site in question outlined.
In both cases, the consultation runs from 15th February 2020 until 5pm on 12th April 2021. All responses must be received by 5pm on 12th April 2021.
