East Lindsey District Council asking locals how to use £4.4m Shared Prosperity Fund

East Lindsey District Council is to receive £4.4 million over the next three years through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund – and want to hear your ideas about how you think it should be used.

The Fund is a key part of the Government’s ‘Levelling Up’ agenda, providing money for local councils to invest in:

  • Local communities and places
  • Support for local businesses
  • People and skills

The work is being coordinated by the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership, however each Council is looking separately at where the greatest local needs lie. To help the Council achieve this, they want to hear from you so that they can understand what local communities would like the money to be spent on and what will work best locally.

The Council are now inviting ideas from the local community on projects or initiatives that you think could bring real improvements in the three priority areas. They would also like to hear about local grassroots organisations who you think could play a valuable role in the delivery of this work.

The consultation is open until Thursday 30 June 2022. Your views are welcome, so please share your ideas – everyone’s input is important.
