Join us for our October face-to-face Lincoln Chamber Network.
All businesses in Lincoln and surrounding areas are invited to this network, kindly hosted by The Keyworth Centre at The Priory City of Lincoln Academy
How does it work?
You will get a quick introduction from the Chamber team to welcome you to the event and to keep things interesting, the format will vary from event to event. This could include a guest speaker or updates from the Chamber.
As a Chamber we want to ensure our networking events support our members and wider business community to make positive connections and to grow their networks.
Chamber members and non-members are all welcome, and the price of admission includes tea, coffee and a light buffet lunch.
Some membership packages include a free ticket to networking events – if you’d like to honour this and book your place, email us on events@lincs-chamber.co.uk
Keyworth Centre and the Academy
The Priory Federation of Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust of twelve academies, covering all phases of education from early years, primary, secondary and special. The Trust is in an exciting period of development, with its growth in post-16 provision, and its delivery of apprenticeships. The Trust is aspiring to develop students to become the talent of choice for the labour market, and wants to do that in partnership with businesses. A part of that ambition, The Keyworth Centre, is one of the Trust’s specialist technical centres of excellence, for Construction and Engineering, based at the Priory City of Lincoln Academy.
The Trust’s Academies deliver a wide range of courses, including T Levels, A Levels and BTECs, including from the Keyworth Centre, whilst also delivering apprenticeships to industry for new staff, and to existing staff as an upskilling opportunity. Sectors that the Trust deliver courses include in Construction and Engineering, Business and Leadership, Digital and IT, Healthcare, Science, Sport, Catering and Hospitality, and Legal, Finance and Accounting, and more.
Ellis Potter
Ellis Potter is the Head of Apprenticeships and Careers at the Priory Federation of Academies Trust. As part of this role, Ellis looks after the delivery of apprenticeships, for both staff in industry who are upskilling in their roles, and for new starter apprentices. Ellis also oversees the delivery of careers education across the Trust, working with businesses to understand the skills needs and gaps of industry, and ensuring that this is at the heart of the delivery of careers education. The careers education programme includes delivering meaningful, inspiring and exciting experiences of the workplace, talks and activities with employers, and other events. Ellis also plays a significant role in the development of the Trust’s post 16 technical education offer, which includes T Levels.
