Another retail let completes in the regenerating heart of Lincoln

Another retail unit in the heart of Lincoln’s multi-million pound landmark redevelopment of the city centre has been let through the local office of Eddisons incorporating Banks Long & Co.

Unit 43 Sincil Street has been let to Katie Cardew Illustrations, an independent trader specialising in premium gifts & homewares.

Unit 43 is the penultimate let in a series of five Sincil Steet retail units on which Eddisons incorporating Banks Long & Co is acting. Three other occupiers – Freckleface Home Fragrance, clothing retailer, Jailhouse Frock and the Lincoln-based Naked Marshmallow Co – were announced over the summer.

The remaining retail unit to let is Unit 44 and it offers 839 sq ft (78.0 sq m) of retail space across two floors.

All these Sincil Street retail units are part of Lincoln’s £70 million Cornhill Quarter regeneration and overlook the new Lincoln Central Market £8 million redevelopment where Eddisons incorporating Banks Long & Co is also instructed as the commercial agent.

As well as independent traders, occupiers in the Cornhill Quarter include national operators such as Pho, Three Joes, Lakeland Hobbs & Whistles. There is also an Everyman Cinema

Both projects are part of a substantial ongoing investment programme to revitalise Lincoln city centre where, in conjunction with transport improvements, the aim is to have mixed-use commercial space with an emphasis on leisure & retail.

Sincil Street, as part of the retail focus, is set to benefit from the increased footfall that the various city centre schemes will bring forward on their completion.

Viewing of the remaining retail unit at 44 Sincil Street, Lincoln is strictly by appointment only through the agents.
