Bluecube announce launch of IT services and support

Midlands-based communications provider, Bluecube, have announced a major new service launch. The company, formed in 2008, recently announced changing its name from Bluecube Telecommunications to Bluecube Cloud Services. The launch of managed IT services confirms the expansion of their service proposition to a complete spectrum of cloud-based services.

Bluecube celebrate their 15th year in business in October and have become a leading Midlands provider of business communications, specialising in unified communications, high speed business internet connectivity and mobile phone services. However, Bluecube’s founder and managing director Paul Reames felt that the launch of IT services was an inevitable evolution for the company.

“There have always been parallels between what a communications provider and an IT company do for their customers. Most of the time this just led to confusion for the client as they weren’t sure who to contact when there were problems. We did some research within our own customer base and it became very apparent that they just wanted one technology partner to work with rather than getting their communication and IT services from multiple carriers” said Reames.

After 15 years of pure focus on communications, this was a huge step for the company: “Once we made the decision to launch managed IT services and support it was about getting in the right people and making sure we launched a high quality proposition. We’ve definitely achieved that; we’ve added some great skills and experience to the team and our first customers using these services have been delighted. It was really important that we launched with a strong proposition, we’ve worked incredibly hard to gain our reputation over a decade and a half and we weren’t taking any chances.” Reames explained.

The new IT services will include IT support and managed IT services; cloud computing solutions; network support and performance monitoring; security; email; backups; and recovery solutions.

The expansion comes after Bluecube announced a change of name earlier in the year to Bluecube Cloud Services Limited. The announcement in March explained that the services that Bluecube now offer were much broader and that the new company name encapsulated that better than the previous ‘telecommunications’ name.

“We’ve been leading the way in the Midlands area as early adopters of VoIP and unified communications; we sold our first cloud services back in 2014. Expanding our team and offering high level IT and communications services and support seemed like a no brainer when we sat down and evaluated it. Our customers wanted a single support team for their technology services and now we can guide them through the rather complex digital transformation that inevitably lies ahead of us all, ” said Reames.

The launch was supported by a new website for the business which you can visit at https://www.bluecubecloud.com/
