Bluecube launches new marketing campaign and expands team as Cloud comms market booms

Lincoln-based telecoms provider, Bluecube, has launched a new video marketing campaign and expanded its customer support team after a record year of business.

Designed for social media, the new video campaign is aimed at the increasing number of businesses continuing to opt for a hybrid working model of operating from both home and the office.

Using an engaging football theme, the campaign highlights the many benefits of migrating from fixed phone systems to Cloud-based communications as many companies look to support teams with flexible technology.

Two new recruits for Bluecube

Charlie Garrett and Liam Haynes have joined the company’s customer service team to assist companies with telecommunications solutions.

Garrett joins the team whilst working remotely from his home in Sheffield. He will commute to the Lincoln office for his initial training along with any required meetings and team social events.

Haynes brings seven years of experience to the team from a similar role. Based in Lincoln, Haynes will adopt a hybrid working model and will be based both in the office and from home.

Both recruits will bolster the continuously growing customer service team by dealing with faults and admin. Responsibilities will also include the provisioning and management of Bluecube’s cloud services.

Supporting businesses with flexible communication systems

Paul Reames, managing director at Bluecube, explains: “We’ve launched the new video marketing campaign as we wanted to highlight the many advantages of choosing Cloud communications over fixed equipment based systems in a fun way. We’re hoping our social media advertising campaign will educate business owners and managers whilst perhaps brightening up their LinkedIn news feed at the same time.

“Many of our customers have decided that they will not make a wholesale move back to the office post-lockdown, preferring a hybrid working model instead.

“As a result, we’ve seen a significant reduction in the amount of IP phones and equipment being sold with customers opting for a softphone and headset setup, allowing them to make, receive and manage calls on their business number from any location.

“To meet this demand, we are delighted to welcome both Charlie and Liam to the team as we continue our expansion plan to become the region’s leading provider of unified communication solutions to the SME market.”
