Read MoreLincoln-based telecoms provider, Bluecube, has strengthened its team and customer service offering with the appointment of two new members of staff.
Ben Palmby joins the business as sales and account manager and Becky Jolly joins the technical support team at Bluecube.
A significant increase in the number of enquiries from businesses across the UK has seen an unexpected period of growth for the Lincoln-based cloud communications provider.
As the UK business community begins to see a return to some pre-pandemic normality, many businesses are looking at how their staff should return to the office.
The new team members at Bluecube mean the business has bolstered its ability to respond quickly to larger enterprise sales enquiries and continue to meet the service levels that they have previously been recognised for.

Paul Reames, managing director at Bluecube, explains: “We have worked hard during the past year to keep up with the demand for working from home and flexible communication systems.
“With businesses beginning to return to the office we are still seeing many choose to keep some staff members working remotely. For the most part, our customers are giving their staff the option to work remotely at least some of the time and to do that they require a more flexible communications strategy. Consequently, this year continues to be incredibly busy for Bluecube as well as the industry as a whole.
“We’ve seen a 12% increase in our sales in the last 12 months which in the middle of a global pandemic was unexpected. We navigated the first few months of the pandemic like many businesses did, we kept our costs as low as possible and we found it difficult to plan ahead as things were very unpredictable. However, in the late summer of 2020, we started to see a significant increase in enquiries and that continues to be the case which we are of course delighted by.
“The expansion of our team also fits with the headcount growth for our five-year plan that aims to see Bluecube as the region’s leading provider of unified communication solutions to the SME market.”
