Bluecube launches ‘one click’ Wildix solution for seamless, secure and cost effective business communication

Lincoln-based telecoms provider Bluecube has launched a new Unified Communications platform, Wildix, as part of its expanding portfolio. The all in one browser based solution will enable businesses to communicate more effectively as they adjust to a more flexible way of working.

As Interpol warned this month that cyber criminals are taking advantage of the big rise in remote working brought on by Covid-19, secure platforms have become increasingly important for individuals, small businesses and large corporations alike.

The rapid move to remote systems and networks has left many businesses vulnerable to data breaches and disruption from cyber criminals. To help businesses stay cyber secure while their staff work remotely, Wildix enables businesses to access chat, call and video services without the need to buy additional applications or install other protections against cyber attacks.

Wildix offers every user a mobile application and soft phone feature so that they can choose how and where they want to work. It’s also compatible with a vast range of other software so that they can easily integrate it with their favourite business software.

Paul Reames, managing director at Bluecube, said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch Wildix and add this fantastic Unified Communications platform to the Bluecube portfolio.

“With the dramatic increase in remote working enquiries that the industry has seen since lockdown, we felt Wildix was the perfect fit for us to offer our customers a choice of solutions that can cover all scenarios. Wildix gives our customers a safe, easy to deploy and true real time communications option.

“When we first met with Wildix and saw how powerful, flexible and easy to use the platform was, we knew straight away that it was right for us and for many of our clients. What makes Wildix different is that it’s web based and therefore there’s no need to download software and get regular updates. End users can still use basic desk phone telephony but businesses now want tools that make home working and remote working an easy option. Wildix also comes in at an incredibly low cost per user for the basic PBX package, which we feel is important as the UK economy is again in recession.

“The world of business communications is going through massive change and the recent lockdown has only accelerated the business community’s appetite to find a solution that works for them. We now feel we have a fantastic range of audio, video and collaboration solutions to cover all opportunities when we are approached to give advice.”

Wildix is aimed at small and medium businesses that need to provide their employees and collaborators with efficient yet simple to use communication tools.

The system was designed to be easy to install and manage, with low maintenance costs. It is a complete and scalable solution for companies that want to upgrade their communication tools with video conference and chat functions, while reducing operating costs.

Unlike other solutions available in the market, Wildix offers a complete range of hardware products and Unified Communications & collaboration features.

Steve Yates, Channel Manager at Wildix UK said:

“We at Wildix are delighted to partner with Bluecube Telecommunications, a dynamic and forward thinking company that delivers first class technology and support to businesses – the exact ethos we aim to deliver for all Wildix partners. We look forward to helping support Bluecube on their exciting journey.”

Bluecube is committed to offering customers access to the latest developments in communications technology. The team is fully trained to manage Wildix on behalf of its clients and train our end users on how to get the best from the solution.

Bluecube is hosting an event in September, ‘Navigating Comms in the New Normal’, which is aimed at businesses who are keen to better understand the communications landscape and how it is changing during the pandemic.
