Boost your business and receive funding with the University of Lincoln

The University of Lincoln facilitates business funding all year round through various programmes designed to support employers of all sizes.

You can benefit from a bursary of £1,000 to recruit our talented students and graduates on internships through the UoL Talent Programme organised by the Careers & Employability Team at the University, who can also support you to hire a current student or recent graduate, with a tailored package of support and advice.

Paid internships are a great way for small and medium sized enterprises to hire talent to help their businesses develop and grow.

Interns can be appointed to work on a specific short-term project or to fill a vacancy for a fixed period. Many interns have gone on to be offered permanent roles after proving themselves to be invaluable team members.

Why hire an intern through UoL Talent at the University of Lincoln?

Your business can benefit from:

  • Funding towards employment costs
  • An easy process, saving costs and time
  • A tailored package of support through every step of recruitment
  • Short term commitment – fill a vacancy for a fixed period or a project
  • Opportunities to develop new business areas with a quick injection of skills and fresh ideas
  • Natural progression – data shows that UoL internships frequently turn into permanent positions
