Breaking Ground Again: Build for the Future; East Midlands Returns to Propel the County into 2024 with Growth and Innovation

Heckington, Lincolnshire, February 2024 – Heritage Lincolnshire and Archaeological Project Services are proud to announce that their coveted event, Build for the Future, East Midlands, will be returning to the Lincolnshire Showground on Tuesday 23rd April 2024.

The event hosted in conjunction with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its fifth year in 2024, and already has an enviable list of speakers and sessions on its agenda, alongside demonstrations, networking and exhibitors.

Aimed at those within the construction, property, heritage, sustainability, and trade industries, the event has grown significantly since it started in February 2020. Now heading into its fifth year, Build for the Future; East Midlands is well on its way to becoming the biggest event in the East Midlands for connecting and supporting businesses with their plans to build for the future.

To celebrate the event’s fifth year and encourage more businesses to consider their local heritage when building, Build for the Future; East Midlands, alongside its sister event Heritage for the Future; East Midlands, will play host to a number of opportunities for businesses to learn, connect and network including:

  • 50+ exhibitors from across the industry
  • Meet the Buyer event hosted by Compliance Chain
  • CPD-led talks and seminars throughout the event to develop learning and understanding of the industry
  • Seminars from Local Authorities in Lincolnshire and the bordering counties to inform about their latest economic growth and development programmes and how businesses can get involved
  • The popular Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Property Network event will continue which attracted over 80 businesses in attendance in 2023
  • Practical demonstrations of the latest equipment and technological advances in the industry

Event Organiser, Hannah Tomlinson says: “Building for the future has been a hot topic in recent years and businesses are realising the importance of preserving the rich history of our local area. The event has grown significantly over the last five years but remains true to its ethos of being accessible to businesses of all sizes, bringing together the construction and property industry. Being able to bring together local businesses with support from national bodies to give them the tools to learn, network, and highlight their skills within one event is incredible and we are proud of what we have achieved since the event started in 2020.”

Lincolnshire Chamber Of Commerce, Head of Marketing & Events, Heloise Evans says: “Build 4 the Future has gained considerable traction in recent years, providing a fantastic opportunity to unite local construction and property businesses, providing them with a unique platform to learn, network, and showcase their skills. Build 4 the Future cements the foundations for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable progress, whilst celebrating our vibrant history.”
