Business Lincolnshire to launch new brochure for booming digital tech sector

To showcase the region’s diverse digital tech industry, Business Lincolnshire and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP are launching a new ‘Digital Lincolnshire’ online brochure.

Designed to promote Greater Lincolnshire’s growing digital tech sector, the brochure will feature businesses including those in software development, digital media and marketing, telecommunications and information technology industries.

Lincolnshire has a number of digital sector specialisms including the manufacture of communications equipment and manufacturing electronic components, employing more than three times the national average. The aim of the brochure is to raise awareness of digital tech businesses across the county and encourage inter-trading, helping SMEs boost business and contribute to the Greater Lincolnshire economy.

Cllr Colin Davie, Executive Councillor for Economic Development, Environment and Planning at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “The development of this new product will help promote so many of the fantastic digital tech businesses within our county. Digital businesses in Lincolnshire benefit from low business costs, a good location with easy transport links, and the support offered specifically for the sector.

“Many of our traditional businesses are becoming increasingly digital which offers many opportunities to businesses that can supply much-needed technology. I encourage any business within the digital tech field to feature in the new brochure to help them connect with new customers and suppliers right on their doorstep.”

The county is also home to the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology (LIoT) – one of only 12 in the UK. The institute is committed to developing the talent and skills in the region to drive exciting new-age industries and play a role in enabling a dynamic, technology-driven economy.

Any businesses that are interested in being featured in the new Digital Lincolnshire online brochure should email or visit the Business Lincolnshire website for more information:
