Award-winning Lincoln chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has welcomed another professional to its busy Project Management team.
Quantity surveyor and project manager Carl Fahy has joined the Westgate firm, after spending five years working for consultancy firms within the construction sectors within Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.
Carl, who hails from North Lincolnshire has brought with him experience of working on projects within the education, defence and local authority sectors, in particular.
“I was attracted to join Banks Long & Co because of the sheer variety of work it offered me. It is has also given me the opportunity to join a former colleague, Director Daniel Garfoot, who used to be my senior manager in a previous position,” said Carl.
Carl joins Banks Long & Co as the firm is delivering for major projects, including the Cornhill Quarter redevelopment (£70 million), Valentine’s Court student accommodation (£25m), a new private apartment scheme on West Parade (£3m) and a new minor surgical unit at Burton Waters (£3m).
He is married to Louise and has a daughter Emily (two). In his spare time Carl enjoys playing basketball. He is a member of the Isle of Axholme Basketball Club and plays in the Doncaster Amateur League.
