Digital Boost campaign launched to provide digital support

The Covid-19 crisis has presented many challenges for small businesses and charities, particularly in building digital capability. In response, Digital Boost has been created to provide much-needed digital support for small businesses and charities.

The platform will host a community of digital experts, who will offer one-to-one digital support to small businesses and charities free of charge to help them improve their digital capability to grow and prosper.

The COVID-19 crisis has highlighted the gap between digitally high and low-tech organisations by forcing 67% of UK SMEs to temporarily close business.

Digital Boost is on a mission to close this gap by helping small businesses & charities move online not only to get through the COVID-19 crisis, but also to stay competitive in the long-term in today’s digital world. Support is delivered through 1:1 “Boost Calls” and interactive “Boost Workshops” with digital expert volunteers and “Boost Skills” resources.

Digital Boost is a partnership between BCG Digital Ventures and Founders4Schools, offering a platform for organisations in need to connect with volunteer digital experts.

Their mission is simple: to help charities and small businesses get the essential digital skills they need by matching organisations in need with digital experts to offer one to one conversations and practical webinars for free.
