Survey launched for local business leaders

East Midlands-based accounting and business adviser, Duncan & Toplis is surveying business leaders to find out how their needs and aspirations have changed since the start of the pandemic.

The company is running an online survey so it can ensure its services match the requirements of businesses which may have changed dramatically over the past few months alone.

Duncan & Toplis plans to share some of the key findings from the survey with the wider business community and also use responses to inform the way the company supports clients in future.

The straight forward survey is designed to be completed within just a couple of minutes. Questions include: ‘What are the biggest challenges your business is facing right now?’ and ‘What is the primary focus for your business in the next 2-3 years?’.

Caroline Cleary, who leads the clients and markets strategy at Duncan & Toplis, said:

“The business environment is changing rapidly and while we work very closely with our clients to ensure we deliver the services they need, it’s important that we stay up to speed on the overall trends across the wider local economy.

“We have a very short, simple to complete survey online which is open to every and any business leader in the East Midlands and the more people who respond, the better we can support businesses in this dynamic, post-covid environment. We’ll also be sharing any particularly interesting trends we discover with organisations like the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and the wider public so that businesses across the county can get some useful insights into how local organisations are faring.”

All responses will remain anonymous in reports and information sharing, and participants are under no obligation to subscribe to any marketing or promotional materials when taking part.

The company supports more than 12,000 businesses and individuals with a wide range of services including accountancy, tax and business advice, audit, assurance services, HR, Payroll, wealth management, IT services, legal and probate services, international business services and business turnaround support.
