Sustainability is not just about reducing our plastic usage or cutting down on paper, it’s much more than that.
The time for business to act is now – changing our behaviour, implementing changes to drive sustainable outcomes, reduce business cost, energy use and carbon footprint to ensure prosperity for future generations.
We have partnered with North East Lincolnshire Council’s Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire programme to bring to you this ‘Be Business Smart: Cut Cost and Carbon’ Virtual Exhibition full of insights, inspiration, helpful advice, 1-2-1 support and importantly GRANT FUNDING.
Aimed at SME’s across all sectors in Greater Lincolnshire, the event intends to provide a forum to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy through learning forums, knowledge sharing activities, panel discussions and case studies.
The event will also highlight and demonstrate the latest technology and approaches to allow companies to innovate and adopt changes to save TIME, MONEY and CONTRIBUTE towards the fight against climate change.
The event will provide you with much of the same benefits of a physical exhibition but just in the virtual space and from the comfort of your own home, office or workspace and not forgetting we are already reducing those carbon emissions by not travelling to the event.
Exhibitors can host a promotional video of their company or they can interact live with ‘visitors’ to their exhibition booth.
Delegates can ‘click around’ the virtual exhibition the same as they would ‘walk around’ a physical one, visiting stands, attending talks and networking.
Please note: Delegate places are available to all businesses, however exhibitor booths are only available to those businesses who are low carbon and sustainability specific.
Let’s Talk Grant Funding
Through the Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire project, grants up to 38% are available to cover the cost of an energy saving project.
The programme has been part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, to bring businesses not only grant funding, but a wide range of support from onsite audits, webinars and much more.
To find out more about these grants, the latest technology, meet suppliers, showcase your products and/or services and network with other businesses, book on to attend and exhibit at our Be Business Smart: Cut Cost and Carbon virtual exhibition.
Agenda
During the entirety of the event (9:00am – 12:30pm) you can use networking rooms and visit the exhibition area with supplier stalls.
There will be a main stage, which we will use to host our welcome and speakers, and separate 30 minute sessions will be taking place which you are more than welcome to attend, or you can use this time to network and visit the suppliers.

How will it work?
On the day, you will be invited to log into Hopin, a digital platform where you can access all the areas – the Stage, Sessions, Networking and Expo.
You are more than welcome to attend the scheduled presentations and discussions, or if you prefer you can use some of this time to visit the Expo and find out more about the exhibitors there.
Networking allows you to meet people one on one, with a fun randomised element – you never know who you’ll speak to next! It’s a great way to make new connections and speak to people you normally may not be able to meet.
If you have any questions at all about how the event will work, please don’t hesitate to contact us on marketing@lincs-chamber.co.uk or ring 01522 523333.
We look forward to seeing you there!
