ChamberConnect: Stress Management and Resilience Workshop

Learn to recognise and understand stress, what impact it has on you and your employees, and how to cope.

Funded by Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G) and presented by Phil Hutchinson of Lantern Development

Dates & times

This workshop is split into two parts, so you will be required to attend both days.

Tuesday 30th March 10:00am – 12:00pm
Wednesday 31st March 10:00am – 12:00pm

Workplace stress is at critical levels in many organisations costing £billions and resulting in long term health conditions for countless individuals.

Organisational and personal resilience are intrinsically linked and a key factor in the successful management of stress related issues and conditions is early diagnosis.

This aim of the session is to develop greater knowledge and understanding of the impacts and effects of stress and enable early identification of the warning signs in ourselves and our colleagues.

In this workshop we will:

– Recognise the signs of stress in ourselves or our teams

– Understand the impacts and effects of stress on physical and mental wellbeing

– Understand and assess our levels of personal resilience

– Consider a range of coping mechanisms and ways to manage stress and retain high resilience.

The delivery will be accompanied by a delegate handbook which will be sent electronically prior to the session.
