ChamberConnect: The End of Furlough is Nigh

ChamberConnect is a series of interactive virtual events which have been designed to support businesses and their staff through the current Coronavirus crisis.

These events will allow you to learn, ask questions and stay up-to-date on a variety of topics which will be affecting your business at such an uncertain time.

Tune in via video conference app Zoom to hear from Oliver Tasker, Partner at Wilkin Chapman.

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will wind down at the end of October and the Job Support Scheme takes its place. Oliver looks at current employment law issues that employers are facing and how to solve them.

– How the new Job Support Scheme works;
– Utilising flexible furlough;
– Common issues with employees returning to the workplace including taking holidays abroad;
– How to deal with employees refusing to return to work;
– Workforce planning including redundancies and restructures.

This will be an interactive session and you will be able to put your questions to Oliver to answer live.
