Monthly construction businesses networking
From sole traders to large housing associations, construction and property businesses come together to talk business at the Lincolnshire Chamber’s Construction Network.
Meet up to 60 construction related businesses in one room. And to ensure that you’re talking to the right people, we limit the number of non-construction related businesses attending the event.
As the saying goes, ‘Time is Money’. Attending the Construction Network for two hours every month is one of the most productive ways that you can keep up to date with project news and new business and tendering opportunities amongst contractors and suppliers.
There is an option to pay on the day for use of the driving range either during the network or after the network for a charge of £5pp.
Speaker: Hiatt Jackson, Flood Innovation Centre (FIC)
Find out about growth opportunities for construction businesses in the emerging Property Flood Resilience (PFR) market from the University of Hull’s Flood Innovation Centre (FIC).
FIC’s Technology Research Manager, Hiatt Jackson will give an overview of heightened regional flood risk and the resulting opportunities for business growth.
Whatever your role in the construction process, there are flood issues that affect every stage of construction process, from site through to sign-off and ongoing maintenance.
Hiatt will also introduce the various measures that businesses and homeowners can apply to reduce the effects of flood and help them to bounce back more quickly in case of a flood event.
The Flood Innovation Centre offers fully funded support packages to eligible SMEs to help them develop new products and services in flood resilience or understand how to make their business premises more flood resilient.
