Decarbonisation and Sustainability Workshop and Expo
This event is focused on South Kesteven businesses and is funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund through South Kesteven District Council.
This event has been created to help inform, educate, and inspire South Kesteven based businesses to understand available and feasible opportunities to reduce their carbon emissions towards meeting net zero goals, maximising existing and emerging local strengths in low carbon technology, and goods & services to take advantage of growing opportunities.
Am I eligible?
The event is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within South Kesteven District Council boundaries.
If you are outside of the catchment area you may be added to our reserve list if tickets are available.
Sean Bingham – Auditel
Sean is our keynote speaker. Sean is a specialist in helping business leaders reach their sustainability goals by measuring their carbon footprint, formulation & delivery of a carbon reduction strategy. Sean will be explaining the real world of practical carbon reduction.
Andrew Casey – Net Zero Business Finance
Andrew is a specialist in Renewable & Sustainable Energy, helping businesses to reduce their energy costs, and decrease their carbon emissions by sourcing the right renewable technologies and advises on funding solutions for the sector.
Jack Good – Reuseabox
Jack Good is the Founder of Reuseabox, an award-winning, B Corp certified organisation that helps companies reduce their environmental impact through cardboard reuse. Now a multi-million-pound company with warehouses in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, the company works with big household names such as Royal Mail, Yeo Valley, Hovis, and Oddbox to promote the environmental benefits of packaging circularity.
Jake Margiotta – Returnal
Jake is Co-founder of an exciting South Kesteven based start-up business with a product aimed at the circular economy, offering a buy-back tech solution creating sustainability as well as customer loyalty and waste reduction.
Councillor Ashley John Baxter
Ashley Baxter is a Chartered Environmentalist and a Member of the Energy Institute having worked professionally in the fields of energy and waste since 1995.
He is also a District and County Councillor for the Deepings area of South Lincolnshire and in January 2024, he was elected as Leader of South Kesteven District Council. Ashley is also the Cabinet Member for Finance and Economic Development.
