“In 2018 we were contacted by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce regarding the ITOPS Course, I went to my then Managing Director and asked if it was a good idea to partake in this course knowing that in the future there was discussions on Brexit. I enrolled in the course and travelled to Lincoln. I met some great people whilst on the course and found it extremely beneficial, overall passing with a distinction. We then had Brexit, followed by Covid and everything changed, the way we worked, how we did training, just everything.
Things in the exporting world continued to change, constantly, we did not have a designated Importing & Exporting department, so someone had to step up and help the ever-changing business. I therefore enrolled on the course again, this time it was conducted online. On the first workshop I was met with the same trainer and team who were amazing first time round so this put my mind at ease. They help you every step of the way.”
“I did find it more challenging this time around doing everything over zoom, but you learn to adapt, with all the support given I managed to pass again, with another distinction and have now moved into a role in JDM which I can use my newfound skills. This is all due to the fantastic work the Lincolnshire and all other Chambers of Commerce do, with support from the specialist trainers.
I would 100% recommend any business to take up this course, as soon we will all need to export to survive in business.”
