Candidates have the opportunity to attend an airport visit at the DHL East Midlands Hub. Although optional, the feedback from this visit has proved that the experience is an invaluable part of the qualification.
The price includes training for twelve workshops, course folders and printed notes, full trainer support during the course of the programme, final assessment day, portfolio assessment and verification. Successful candidates also receive the BCC Foundation Award in International Trade.

“As an ITOPS graduate, I can say with 100% confidence that the course took my working knowledge and improved and fine-tuned it. ITOPS has given me an understanding of the requirements of International Trade and the importance of getting them right and the potential costs when things go wrong.
“Having taken the course, I reviewed the processes within the Company, where we were using “best practice”. I have saved the company thousands of pounds after reviewing dispatch and shipping. More importantly we saved the customer money, and therefore raised the profile of the company with the customer.
“ITOPS is delivered in a learning and practical way. Where we are encouraged to ask questions, learn from the Trainer but also from members of the group and from past graduates.
“All the resources you could need are provided, so you always feel confident in being able to find the answer to any question.
“Knowing that at the end of the course you have achieved something which is practical and can help you within your job role but also help and support other members of your team.
“I would recommend anyone who trades internationally to have members of their team complete ITOPS, not just for personal professional development but also for the development of excellent International Trade processes within your company.”
