From bookkeepers and beauticians to cupcake bakers and care agencies, whatever business you dream of starting we can help you to transform your idea into a business and support you with a fantastic package of training and funding.
You’ll also get to meet other like-minded people and be able to tap into the expertise of an organisation with over 30 years’ experience in helping people start businesses. NBV will be on hand to provide you with advice every step of the way.
WEEK 1 – 2 DAY WORKSHOP
This intensive 2 day workshop led by an experienced business trainer will teach you the nuts and bolts of starting and running a successful business including: what skills are needed to run a business, the importance of Business Planning, how to market your business, understanding opportunities and risks and how to manage money in a business.
WEEK 2 – 1 DAY BUSINESS PLAN
It’s time to focus in on the Business Plan, the all-important ‘road map’ for your business. Of course if you are looking to raise money through loans, investment or grants then you’ll need a business plan. If not, it’s simple: businesses with a clear, well thought out Business Plan survive and grow better than those without.
In this interactive full day session you’ll learn the component parts of the Business Plan, how to ask yourself the right questions, the importance of comprehensive market research, how to calculate your start-up costs and how to develop realistic financial projections.
We will also talk about the additional support that NBV can provide once you are up and running including business advice, business workshops, networking, office facilities and much more.
Upon completion of the 3 days you’ll get a certificate and more importantly you’ll have everything you need to get your business up and running!
