Networking at the Mill and Brewery

Calling all business professionals!

Join us for a unique networking experience at Heckington Windmill and the 8 Sail Brewery.

Set in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, this Grade I listed windmill was built in 1830 with five sails. Damaged in a storm in 1890, the mill was repaired using eight sails, the cap and machinery from a local windmill in Boston. It is now the only 8 sailed windmill in the world!

Now fully restored, the site hosts an award-winning Visitor Centre, Tea Room and Brewery, plus gardens, onsite bakehouse and museum. A perfect day out for everyone.

Located in the old engine shed and sawmill is Heckington’s unique and award winning 8 Sail Brewery. The brewery opened in 2010 and produced its first beer on 22nd June that year. The six barrel brewery is owned and run by Tony Pygott and brews a wide variety of Beers, Porters, Milds and other styles of beer, which have proved extremely popular.

The 8 Sail Brewery regularly attends local farmers markets in Sleaford, Boston, and Lincoln and hold special events throughout the year.

At our events, we strongly encourage car sharing whenever possible. This not only helps reduce traffic congestion but also minimises our environmental impact. Thank you for helping us create a more sustainable and efficient event experience.

Free Event Tickets can be redeemed towards this event.

Don’t miss out on this unique networking event that combines a tour of Heckington Windmill and the 8 Sail Brewery with the opportunity to indulge in delicious beer tasting.

As a Chamber we want to ensure our networking events support our members and wider business community to make positive connections and to grow their networks.

Chamber members and non-members are all welcome, and the price of admission includes tea, coffee, a tour of Heckington Windmill and the 8 Sail Brewery and a light buffet lunch in their tea room.

Some membership packages include a free ticket to networking events – if you’d like to honour this and book your place, email us on events@lincs-chamber.co.uk

If you are interested in hosting a future network, please get in touch with our events team on the email address above.
