Experience Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Access to Wilder Doddington with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce
Join us for a special presentation and walking tour to uncover one of the UK’s most ambitious rewilding projects. As part of this exclusive Chamber event, you’ll gain access beyond the public footpaths at Wilder Doddington and discover the intricate mosaic of habitats being nurtured by roaming rare breed cattle, wild Exmoor ponies, and curly-coated pigs.
During our visit, we may spot deer, hares, slow worms, or other fascinating wildlife. The walking tour will take us into the woodland to explore open glades, standing deadwood, and other features rarely seen by the public, learning about their critical value to beetles, butterflies, birds, and bats.
You’ll also have the chance to discuss the processes of rewilding, species reintroduction, and hear about innovative projects, such as Wilder Doddington’s “Wetter Better” initiative to create seasonal wetlands.
