Social Value, Following Ramco’s Journey

Ramco helps businesses and government departments across the UK reuse their surplus assets.

For almost 30 years Ramco has been on a mission to stop valuable assets sitting idle by giving them a new home. Their service helps organisations clear space, reduce costs, promote reuse, and generate a financial return that can be reinvested.

Working with clients including the MoD, Centrica, Merlin Entertainments and the BBC, Ramco has helped give huge volumes of equipment a new lease of life.

Ramco was created to promote sustainability and contribute to the circular economy by promoting reuse. This has evolved into a commitment to operating ethically and putting people first through its social value efforts.

Hear from Liam Cameron who looks after marketing and social value for equipment auctioneer and reuse experts, Ramco.

Echoing Ramco’s mission to promote reuse by giving surplus assets a new lease of life, Liam creates content and comms that inspires people and educates them about the benefits of sustainable asset disposal, both in terms of planet and profit.

Liam has been a driving force behind Ramco’s social value journey since 2021 and is focussed on establishing a strategy — and solid foundation of initiatives — to help implement, capture, measure and improve Ramco’s social value contribution.

At our events, we strongly encourage car sharing whenever possible. This not only helps reduce traffic congestion but also minimises our environmental impact. Thank you for helping us create a more sustainable and efficient event experience.

As a Chamber we want to ensure our networking events support our members and wider business community to make positive connections and to grow their networks.
