About the Vineyard
Rutland Vineyard is nestled atop a narrow ridge between the Rivers Welland and Chater, standing 70 metres above sea level with a prime south-facing aspect — ideal conditions for growing exceptional English wine.
Located in one of the most picturesque corners of Rutland, the site offers both beauty and history. It’s remarkable to think that 160 million years ago, this very spot formed part of what was then England’s south coast.
