TALK: Building Regulations Update and Future Homes Standard 2025

This talk is part of the Build for the Future: East Midlands event, which is FREE to attend!

The UK has set out in law a target to bring all its greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.

Homes – both new and existing – account for 20% of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK, although considerable progress has been made in this sector there is still more to be done to decarbonise homes to help meet the 2050 target.

In 2019 Spring statement, a commitment was made by Government that by 2025 a Future Homes Standard will be introduced for new build homes to be future-proofed with low carbon and world-leading levels of energy efficiency.

This talk will be followed by our monthly Construction and Property Network, to book your free place click here.
