Forrester Boyd’s Christmas Quiz Triumph

The holiday season is a time for joy, giving, and coming together to make a difference in the lives of others and Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants recently embraced the spirit of the season by hosting their much-anticipated Annual Christmas quiz.

Beyond the festive cheer and friendly competition though, the event served a higher purpose – raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.

This year’s Christmas quiz, held at the brilliant Grimsby Golf Club, was a resounding success, bringing people together for an evening filled with laughter, fun, and the collective desire to make a positive impact. Attendees from Bridge McFarland, Kingsbridge Corporate Solutions and Handelsbanken to name but a few, were treated to an enjoyable night that not only showcased their trivia prowess but also highlighted a fantastic professional community spirit.

The highlight of the evening was the staggering amount raised for the British Heart Foundation – an impressive £3,400 on the night alone. With this total Forrester Boyd are extremely proud to announce that they have surpassed their initial goal of £13,300. The funds raised currently stands at £14,068!

The success of the Christmas quiz can be attributed not only to the enthusiasm of the participants but also to the generosity and kindness of everyone involved. The Grimsby Golf Club provided the perfect setting for the festivities, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complemented the holiday spirit as attendees were treated to a delightful spread of great food.

Forrester Boyd’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting vital causes was evident throughout the event. The funds raised will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact on the British Heart Foundation’s efforts to research heart diseases and improve the lives of those affected.

As we reflect on the success of Forrester Boyd’s annual Christmas quiz, it becomes clear that the holiday season is not just about tinsel and festive decorations. It’s about coming together and fostering a sense of community to make a positive difference.

Forrester Boyd Partner, Phil George said, ‘The achievement of surpassing the fundraising target is a testament to the generosity and goodwill present in the local community. It highlights the power of businesses and how we can all inspire positive change and rally support for organisations dedicated to making a real impact on people’s lives.’

As the year draws to a close, Forrester Boyd’s achievement stands as a shining example of the magic that can happen when a community comes together. Here’s to more moments of generosity, compassion, and community spirit in the coming year, ensuring that the holiday season’s true essence extends well beyond the month of December.
