GA Business Services celebrates third anniversary with the launch of a new website

It’s been three years since Graham Allen made the leap from employee to business owner. In February 2019 he founded his business consultancy, GA Business Services, and he hasn’t looked back.

Graham and the Creation of GA Business Services

Graham has worked as a business strategist in the Infrastructure, Utilities and Built Environment sector for over 20 years.

Having held senior positions at Kier Group, Balfour Beatty and Carillion, he has been involved in the successful implementation of a range of blue chip business change and growth strategies, and major construction projects from bid winning to completion.

His success in the industry and the fast-paced regeneration of the Humber estuary convinced him he could provide business support and advice for both local and national organisations, from start-ups to established companies keen to continue evolving and expanding.

His presence across the sector has allowed him to build up a strong network of contacts whose knowledge and expertise he can call on when he needs to build a bespoke team for a particular activity. And he has the flexibility to be as hands-on or hands-off as the client requires whilst it implements a strategy, or completes a project.

The last few years have put most businesses in uncharted territory to some extent. As a business owner himself, Graham understands that in order to move forward, it is often essential to seek some external expertise.

He says, “Businesses of today face significant challenges in being competitive and delivering their services, as well as meeting internal expectations. I can take an objective look at the organisational structure, advise on sustainable, long-term strategies, and identify and negotiate untapped opportunities”.

Graham approached Knapton Wright Ltd in 2021 as his website designer and developer of choice.

Much of his business stems from word of mouth referrals, and repeat commissioning, but Graham wanted an asset that would not only provide credibility, but increase his reach and provide further visibility for his business.

The site build process was collaborative, with both Graham and Knapton Wright working on the content, and regular meetings to review the bespoke layout and design. The result is something both Graham and Knapton Wright are extremely pleased with.

The site was handed over to Graham, allowing him a strong and dynamic online presence, alongside a range of offline collateral that will ensure the GA Business Services brand also has a permanent and visible place on desks and boardroom tables across the country.
