Read MorePrior to the pandemic, the UK beauty industry generated over £6billion in revenue annually. This does not take into full account the hidden talent economy as it is an unregulated market.
This industry was also one of the worst hit by the pandemic with widespread store closures and unprecedented job losses.
This accentuates the need for a change and gratiFLY want to be in the forefront to help talented people harness and maximise their potentials to provide quality services that is affordable and convenient for service users.
gratiFLY is a mobile application designed to bridge a gap in the beauty and wellness industry – it is a platform primarily dedicated to showcase and empower hidden talents.
This is the dream of Eyitayo Oyebanji, Co-Founder of PamperApp Ltd, the company behind gratiFLY. Eyitayo is a pharmacist with the Lincolnshire Co-operative and lecturer at the University of Lincoln School of Pharmacy.
This concept was conceived from multiple conversations in the pharmacy settings where he realised that there is no dedicated platform to showcase many talented people who provide these services to people only within their limited network.
The organisation’s vision is to be more than a booking platform, but to provide support and empowerment to millions of people around the world in the same position.
gratiFLY is now available on all app stores and is free to use with no commissions or hidden charges. It is launching in Lincoln (the city where this idea was birthed) on Monday 19th July 2021 to coincide with the lifting of lockdown.
