Milestone reached at Holiday Inn, Lincoln

Holiday Inn has celebrated a significant phase of their new extension on Brayford Wharf, Lincoln.

Built by construction company, R G Carter, the main structure of the new 55-bedroom extension has been completed with internal fittings work underway.

To mark this significant milestone attendees from client Kew Green Hotel, JWA Architects and Local Authority Building Control joined the R G Carter site team on the roof for the traditional pouring of champagne on a yew branch and a tour of the development in progress.

Business Development Manager, Nick Pettit, from R G Carter delivered a speech at the ceremony and said:

“We are delighted to be working with Holiday Inn and celebrating this exciting stage in the development. We are continuing to make great progress on the site, which is due to be completed for early summer 2020 and look forward to next phases of the project.”

The five-storey extension will also include a new lobby area, refurbished car park and food and beverage areas to accommodate extra guests, with more jobs being created across the hotel.
