Read MoreLincolnshire Co-op, Gleeds, The New Homes Agent and Tradeglaze (Lincoln) were just some of last night’s (3rd February 2022) winners at the fifth annual Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards.
Over 330 people gathered to celebrate the Construction and Property sector in Lincolnshire, with the awards ceremony taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln.
Guests arrived at these prestigious awards, sponsored by Morgan Sindall Construction, and were welcomed by guest speakers Dan Lowes, former RAF pilot and executive officer of the Red Arrows, and English Rugby Union and Leicester Tigers star, Leon Lloyd.
Dan and Leon entertained the audience with stories about their careers and hilarious anecdotes to the delight of our guests, and a Red Arrows and rugby themed ‘heads’ or ‘tails’ game to raise money for our Charity of the Year, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
The guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal prepped by the excellent chefs at the DoubleTree by Hilton, the table wine flowed, and spirits were high throughout the evening.

And for the second time ever, we gave away the Greater Lincolnshire Ambassador Award, which previous winner Tim Downing presented to the new Ambassador, Simon Morris from Gleeds, for all the great work he does to help our marvellous county grow and thrive.
Via the fun ‘heads’ and ‘tails’ game, the awards also helped raise a massive £2,780.00 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, one of the UK’s leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) charities that receives no funding from the government. Every penny raised on the night will go straight to the charity to help them in their life-saving work.
Charlotte Watson, Head of PR, Marketing, Comms & Policy at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce spoke about the awards saying:
“This was truly a wonderful evening, and because we were forced to cancel the 2021 Awards due to Covid, it made for an extra special ceremony where we were all able to come together, enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the best of the construction and property sectors in Greater Lincolnshire today.
“We are so proud to see these awards grow every year, both in the quality of the applications as well as the sheer amount of excitement that come with the launch, shortlist and ceremony itself, it is fantastic to see.
“We hope next year’s awards will be even bigger and better, and we cannot wait to do it all again in 2023 so make sure to save the date – 2nd February!”
Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, the awards judges and steering group would like to thank all sponsors for their generosity and everyone else involved who helped.
