LESS THAN A MONTH LEFT TO EXPERIENCE LINCOLN’S CORNHILL COVE!

Cornhill Cove will be closing with a bang in a month as August sees even more interactive events, including NEW ones for 2023 such as the Surf Simulator.

Lincoln’s Cornhill Cove is in place until Monday 28th of August 2023, open daily from 12pm until late with some of the free workshops and activities taking place throughout August including:

Cornhill Cove is suitable for all ages, and everyone is encouraged to visit and take part in the fun!

Cornhill Cove returned to Lincoln for its third year this Summer and has once again proved to be a popular asset for the city. Offering a wide range of fun, free activities that people of all ages can take part in.

The free event is organised and funded by Lincoln BIG, aiming to offer four months of summer excitement at the Cornhill. Originally launching in Summer 2020 with free crazy golf, a bar and photo cut-out boards, we are delighted to have successfully developed the event to include new interactive activities visitors can get involved with. This includes the Surf Simulator and various themed workshops (from Circus Skills and Mad Science to working with local businesses such as Lush for more craft themed activities). However, we have ensured that the popular aspects of Cornhill Cove, such as live music, and free crazy golf have remained.

2023 has been the most successful year to date for Lincoln’s Cornhill Cove, welcoming approximately 230,000 visitors to the area and increasing dwell time to 270 minutes.
Cornhill Cove has proved to be a great space for family, friends, and visitors of all ages to enjoy throughout the summer months. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a round of golf, spend time with friends and family and relax in the heart of the city this summer!

This year’s success shows that Cornhill Cove is beneficial, not only to provide free fun for locals and tourists, but also surrounding businesses – bringing in consumers that may have originally gone elsewhere.
