Free to attend, the activities are suitable for all ages, and everyone is encouraged to visit Lincoln to explore the city and take part in the fun.
The full event timetable can be found on the event webpage –https://www.visitlincoln.com/whats-on/lincoln-festival-of-fun – performance times vary and are subject to change.
Charlotte Goy, Chief Executive of Visit Lincoln, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming families and friends into Lincoln this February half term. There is going to be the most amazing kaleidoscope of free activities that you can get involved across the seven days of the school holidays – and every day is different so you can keep on coming back for more and more!”
Simon Walters, Director for Communities and Environment at City of Lincoln Council said: “Following the past two years of Covid-19 restrictions, we are excited to be opening up the city and welcoming families to enjoy this fun-filled, free festival.
“Events such as this are important not only for local families but also businesses and attractions in the city. The Welcome Back Funding has been essential to ensure all can benefit from these free activities.
“We look forward to enjoying the festivities as part of the half term holidays.”
Lee Roberts, Operations Manager, Lincoln Business Improvement Group added:
“We are looking forward to bringing this free event to the city this February half term. As restrictions now begin to be lifted, we are looking at ways to welcome people back into Lincoln in a safe and fun way. We want to encourage new and return visitors into the city to experience events such as these as well as exploring everything the city has to offer.”
This event is being funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) / Welcome Back Fund, which has been allocated to the City of Lincoln by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
