Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Announces Cash for Kids and Acts Trust as Charity Partners for the Year

The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce its partnership with two esteemed charities, Cash for Kids and Acts Trust, as the chosen charity partners for the year.

The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting the local community and recognises the invaluable contributions of Cash for Kids and Acts Trust in addressing critical social issues and improving the lives of individuals in need.

Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness, and those who have additional needs.

Nikki Rhodes, Charity Manager at Cash for Kids, said:

“Cash for Kids is thrilled to have been chosen as the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Charity of the Year.

“The support of over 600 members, and the wider awareness of our charity’s work this award will bring, is going to be invaluable for our mission to improve the lives of local children affected by poverty, illness, neglect or who have additional needs.

“Last year we helped 10,570 children and young people across our area, and we’re sure that working together we can make an even bigger difference over the next year.”

Acts Trust is a charity with a mission to Empower People to End Poverty. Their initiatives provide preventative support to help people deal with the issues surrounding poverty before reaching that crisis point.

Simon Hawking, Chief Executive of Acts Trust, said:

“The whole team at Acts Trust are delighted to have been selected as joint Charity of the Year for Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.

“Like fellow members, we are passionate about Lincolnshire and are driven by a desire to see all people included and an end to poverty. Across the county, we oversee a network of projects combatting significant issues like hunger, mental health and youth provision.

“Partnership with local businesses is key to ensure a healthy place and so we treasure this opportunity and look forward to this partnership over the year ahead.

“We want to say a big thank you for selecting Acts Trust, it really does mean so much to our whole team, including our 250+ volunteers!”

Speaking on behalf of the Chamber, Simon Beardsley Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said:

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Cash for Kids and Acts Trust this year.

“Both charities exemplify dedication, compassion, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in our community.

“We look forward to working together to support their vital work and create positive change.”
