Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce welcomes Julian Sigauke as new International Trade Coach

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the recent recruitment of Julian Sigauke as a new International Trade Coach. Starting with the team in early January 2024, Julian has become an essential member of the International Trade team, predominantly supporting businesses of all sizes within the South & East of Lincolnshire to export and import around the world.

Julian has experience working within the Import and Export industry since 2009, long before his move to the UK in 2017. Previously, Julian ran a distribution company importing and distributing consumer goods across all segments. He has represented popular brands, including PepsiCo Snacks, Heineken Lion match products and Kimberly Clarke. Prior to his appointment he has been supporting UK companies of all sizes looking to export to various African Markets.

With an impressive background and extensive knowledge in Global Export and Import, Julian joins the team at a pivotal moment of growth as the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce aims to develop and increase their International Trade offering, which currently includes Export Documentation, Chamber Customs, Peer to Peer Network, Training and Events, Advising and Consulting, and Translation Services.

Julian commented, “I am delighted to join the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce team. The opportunity to support local businesses and help them bring down costs to assist them in competing within the market is inspiring. I look forward to playing a key role in consulting with them and supporting their growth in international markets.”

In his new role as International Trade Coach, Julian will be working closely with our International Trade team, providing businesses access to events and peer to peer learning, as well as one to one intensive support aimed at helping businesses make the first steps into new markets, who are new to import / export or are seeking growth. This activity has been made possible with the support of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Julian to the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce team” commented Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.

“With a thorough understanding of global markets and proven experience working within the industry and navigating complex international trade landscapes, he is a valuable addition to our organisation.”

“I look forward to seeing his expertise enhance our capabilities and offerings, supporting more businesses across Lincolnshire to grow and develop.”

The appointment of Julian aligns with Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing efforts to continue and improve its plans of strategic growth to further its offerings and help create a sustainable and connected economy for Lincolnshire businesses, with a particular emphasis on international trade.
