Ableworld are members of NAEP and CERA as well as being endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader for our service, installation and repairs, which gives you peace of mind that we’re a company you can trust. We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with a contract of sale. We’re also recommended by the NHS as a Community Equipment Dispenser. We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.

You can be assured that all of our stores provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Our stores are fully accessible for mobility equipment users and many provide free car parking facilities. We have fully trained staff who have passed a DBS check for added peace of mind and offer free demonstrations on the mobility aids that we provide, so that you can try them out for size before making a decision. We can provide free advice on mobility aids to help you or a loved one and have a variety of free information leaflets in our stores, including our product catalogue, and highway code for mobility scooter users, that you can take away to look through in your own time.

As well as our fully stocked stores, we also provide some items via our online shop at www.ableworld.co.uk. Unlike many of our competitors we choose to trade ethically and as a result some mobility items that require an assessment are not sold via our website. This is because we want to ensure the mobility aids that our customers are purchasing will assist with their difficulties rather than cause them any further issues, and to also ensure customers do not make a purchase unnecessarily. All mobility aids on our website can be reserved for Click and Collect to ensure the item is in stock. If a customer does choose to Click and Collect an item which does require an assessment, our store staff will discuss the chosen mobility aid with them and if it isn’t suitable there is no obligation to continue with the purchase.
