Sleaford Quality Foods established in 1968 by the Arnold Family in Sleaford

We have grown from a small local family run business to a leading supplier of high quality ingredients, distributing goods both nationally and internationally.

We specialise in dried and dehydrated food products from herbs and spices, to potatoes, onion, fruit and vegetables through to dried soups, bouillons, gravies, seasonings and core cooking ingredients.

In 2010, Sleaford Quality Foods was acquired by Jain Group of India. The parent company Jain Irrigation Systems Limited is one of the producers of Dehydrated Onion and leading processor of tropical fruit purees, concentrates and juice concentrates of mango, banana, guava, papaya, pomegranate and tomato. Jains are also the largest Micro Irrigation Company in India and second largest in the world. Jains work very closely with farmers to provide them with the latest agriculture technologies. Total workforce in the group is more than 6,000. The company’s plants are spread around the world. Jain Irrigation is a public limited company listed on Mumbai, India and Luxembourg (Europe) Stock exchange.

Sleaford Quality Foods  has today become the supplier of choice to many of the UK’s major food manufacturers and foodservice companies. Our company works hard to maintain this status by continually challenging itself to improve levels of service.

James Arnold, son of William & Betty Arnold, plays an active role in the day to day running of the business as the company's Managing Director. Today, we are an international company with a multi-million pound turnover, but maintain our family ethos and passion for our business. That is what makes our business so successful. Our Chef William range for the Foodservice sector was named after the original family member and founder, William Arnold himself.

Our buyers achieve the best prices by sourcing the majority of our products directly from various manufacturers across the globe. We also only purchase from approved suppliers who have been audited to ensure that they can offer the required level of product support.  Our representatives provide to our customers over 1,200 different dried and canned products including our own range of dried blends. Our company provides full technical back-up for each product sold supported by our BRC accreditations.

In 2010, we were winners of Food Manufacture's Ambient & Grocery Category in their prestigious national awards. We are very proud of the status we have achieved and the reputation we have built over the last 40 years.
