Mental health support is available for your businesses

One to one counselling, life coaching and talking support groups are all available as part of Ongo Talk’s support packages.

The mental health service, which has recently expanded due to high demand throughout the coronavirus pandemic, works with local businesses to support their employees,

Since lockdown begun on 23 March this year, 140 clients have been supported with regular check in calls, the offer of one to one counselling and mindfulness training. Coaching and Mindworks courses have been held virtually to be able to continue working with clients throughout lockdown.

Nichola Johnson, Ongo Talk Manager, said: “This year has been difficult for everyone and lots of businesses are experiencing an increase in mental health related sickness. That’s why it’s really important to have the right support in place for employees.

“We know that each business is different, which is why we tailor the service to suit the needs of their employees, at reasonable rates. If you think this could benefit your business, please get in touch with us to discuss how we can help.”

The team work with individuals to put together a wellness plan to decide the most appropriate plan of action to support them with their mental health and wellbeing, to ultimately support them through personal and work related issues.

There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach with Ongo Talk, and taking this approach has seen many positive outcomes including clients being able to open up to work through the problems they face, pushing forward through barriers to achieve their goals.
