Ongo achieve Matrix accreditation

Ongo has successfully retained their Matrix accreditation, demonstrating the high quality of information advice and guidance services they provide to customers who are seeking employment, training and support.

Their Communities team have been operating for a number of years in the North Lincolnshire region, providing support and coaching, to over 1,000 people each year, to help them enhance their prospects.

The Matrix standard is owned by the Department for Education and is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering.

Roger Chapman, Head of the Matrix Service for The Growth Company said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Ongo, and I would like to congratulate the team on their success.

“We believe that at the heart of high-quality advice and support services are strong leadership, excellent service and a focus on continuous improvement, all underpinned by effective use of the resources available.  The Matrix Standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practice in these areas.

“With their accreditation success, Ongo Communities is working to provide the best possible support to their clients.”

Commenting on the award, Jan Williams, Head of Opportunities said: “We are absolutely delighted that we have successfully achieved the Matrix Standard.

“It is testament to the fantastic team at Ongo, and the wide range of opportunities that we can offer our customers, that we have achieved this accreditation for the third time.

“The assessor delivered a thorough assessment of our services, commenting on our warm and welcoming approach, and the confidence and trust that colleagues give to enable the person centred service that we offer to our customers.”
