Ongo delivers on their development aims

Over the last 12 months Ongo has built a total of 199 new homes and have also started work on a further 353 in that time.

Numbers include 71 in Doncaster, 65 in West Lindsey and 63 in North Lincolnshire.

Along with a high demand for affordable rented properties, more than ever before have been made available for shared ownership and rent to buy.

Both options are targeted at those looking to get onto the property ladder, who are not in a financial position to do so using traditional methods.

Key developments include Ongo’s first ever carbon neutral homes in Westcliff, Scunthorpe. Costing in the region of £1.8million, the development comprises of three and four-bedroom homes. All of which come with modern, environmentally friendly features and finishes, open plan living and car parking spaces.

It is expected that homes built to this standard will demand a carbon reduction of between 75-80%, compared to those built to the current energy efficiency requirements. However, the homes would see a carbon reduction of 100%.

Martin Phillips, Development Manager at Ongo
