Ongo launch new way to sign up for a home online

After a successful trial involving their customers, Ongo launched a new digital sign up option on Monday 22 March, providing those applying for a home with a new self-service portal.

This way of completing the application and sign-up process has been introduced as part of Ongo’s mission to be easy to work with, improve digital services, make form filling and providing information as easy, accessible and quick as possible, and to be more cost effective. It’s also links in with their commitment to the environment.

In January 2021 Ongo launched a trial for e-sign ups, and after receiving an overwhelmingly positive response, and seeing a number of customers completing the process right through to moving into new homes, the team decided to launch a full roll out.

Along with being able to upload everything into one place, accessing it anywhere, any time, other benefits include being able to fully track applications and having the ability to view tenancy agreements and other relevant information at the touch of a button.

Jane Crookes, Lettings Manager at Ongo said: “Introducing a totally digital sign up process makes total sense for us. It’s not only the direction in which our organisation is heading, but it’s what our customers expect.

“It has been great to first of all trial the process to see what works well and where we could improve, so that when we come to launch we have something that has customers at the forefront of the design.

“We’re really proud of how it’s going and are excited to be fully rolling it out.”

The new digital sign up service will be provided as an option for all new customers, and can be accessed on Ongo’s website. For more information about Ongo and the range of housing options they provide, go to: .
