Reuseabox Expands with Acquisition of Former Cartwright Brothers Site in Lincoln

Major growth milestone to boost local economy and drive sustainability in packaging Reuseabox, the B Corp Certified reuse packaging company, has announced its expansion into a new 78,000 sq. ft facility in North Hykeham, Lincoln. This acquisition follows the closure of Cartwright Brothers, a long-standing local business that went into administration after over 100 years of operation in July 2024. By taking over this historic site, Reuseabox is ensuring that the location remains a hub for business and employment, contributing to the local economy while continuing its mission to make reuse the norm in the packaging industry. Jack Good, Founder and CEO of Reuseabox, commented:

“It’s always sad to see a long-established business like Cartwright Brothers close, especially one that played such a key role in the local community. However, we’re proud to be breathing new life into this site and continuing its legacy. “Purchasing our own site after 10 years of operating is a huge milestone, reflecting years of determination and reinvestment into our growth. This move gives us the space and infrastructure to scale our operations, create new jobs, and welcome more suppliers and customers. There’s still plenty of work to do to make this site our own, but we’re excited to get started and look forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary here in the autumn.”
