Read MoreThe Rilmac Santa is back and once again raising funds for the LEAP Charity at Christmas. This initiative from Rilmac Asbestos Services mixes fun for the general public with fundraising for the company. A dedicated Rilmac Santa Van has been prepared, with a Santa graphic on the driver’s side door. This van will be used on projects all across the area, throughout the Christmas period, allowing many opportunities to ‘Spot the Rilmac Santa’.
When a member of the public or on-site contractor catches sight of the van they are asked to get a quick photo, but only if it is safe to do so. Then after they have posted the photo to social media, tagging in the Rilmac Group and using #SpotRilmacSanta – Rilmac Asbestos will make a donation to the LEAP Charity on their behalf.

Unfortunately, posting the same sighting on all three would not mean a triple donation. The LEAP Charity’s mission, of providing housing and support for vulnerable young people at risk, is doubly important at this time of year.
Ryan Hubbard, Director at Rilmac Asbestos Services and LEAP board member said, “Christmas is a terrible time to be alienated from your family and living rough. It’s terrible to be homeless at any time but winter is especially cruel. We hope that bringing back Spot Rilmac Santa will allow us to support many more at risk young people.”
